Lisa began her studies at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester, before progressing to a degree course at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, where her horn Professors included Jeffrey Bryant, Hugh Seenan, and Anthony Halstead.

 

Since competing her studies, Lisa has built up a substantial freelance playing and teaching career, having performed throughout the UK at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall , London Palladium, Cadogan Hall, Brighton Pavilion as well as many provincial theatres.   

 

In addition to the UK, Lisa has been invited to play internationally including Eire, Jordan, Egypt, Cyprus, and Lebanon.  Her playing ability covers many genres Classical, Ballet, Opera, Jazz, Swing, Musical Theatre, Wind Ensembles to name a few, and is also invited to perform the Last Post at Remembrance Sunday events!  

 

She has recently performed with the RTE Symphony Orchestra, Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra, London Gala Orchestra, London Myriad Ensemble, as well as many UK and International musical theatre tours including Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, and Carousel to name a few.
